Professional background

I have an 22 year history of working with movement wellness with people. Having played extensive sport, and danced professionally I experienced injuries and ongoing pain. This inspired the journey towards finding solutions to remain pain free, strong and vibrant. Part of that journey was also about fronting up to childhood traumas, which led me to Craniosacral Therapy. It is a wonderful experience be able to pull out or loosen the ‘rocks in the way’ as it were and let the river of life flow freely again both in my body, and with those people whom I have the privilege to work with. As a parent, my practices help me remain resilient, and most of the time playful. I particularly enjoy resourcing parents. Parenting can challenge our nervous systems significantly, and being resourced to do the best job you can is a huge contribution to society. Originally I trained as a ballet and contemporary dancer and the rigour of such training has had a huge impact on my life. It has been a blessing which has has allowed me the opportunity to grow a depth of embodied understanding of movement potential. Sharing this with people and seeing them ‘light up’ or connect to a deeper sense of self is what keeps me sharing this work. I am inspired to age with grace, and wish that for everyone. I look forward to our first appointment.
