I am a counsellor and Full member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC). I value education and started my career with a conjoint degree in psychology and marketing followed by a diploma in professional counselling. I have continued to study throughout my career and recently completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology. Last year, I moved back to Auckland from Hawkes Bay, to pursue further study and research in neurodiversity, alongside my private practice. Before starting my private practice, I worked in medical centres, supporting those with anxiety, depression and overwhelm. I developed a mental health programme to support high needs clients and led a team of counsellors to provide brief intervention and long term support. . Within my private practice I hold contracts with ACC Sensitive Claims, Aoake Te Rā, Health Hawkes Bay, and Telus Health and see clients privately. I value working holistically and draw from CBT, Solution Focused therapy and Act therapy, however sessions are tailored to support the unique needs of each client.
